Come to Montlake's First Creative Convergence: A Literary Celebration!
Step into a celebration of creativity, voice and joyful learning, meeting the K-5 Masters in this First-Class evening celebrating literacy!
See examples of work our Montlake scholars across the grade levels have created in their classrooms. Read poems they've crafted, stories they've imagined, research pieces on subjects they have studied, and personal reflections!
Explore poster presentations of students sharing "My Favorite Book!" that honors their imagination, efforts, and the many ways children express themselves as writers (See below for this optional project students do at home with families).
Discover new worlds students can immerse themselves in at our Book Fair.
Listen to students reflect on their Night Market Projects, while sipping hot cocoa and eating cookies in the Artist's Cafe, located in the Commons.
Join us for an up-lifting night filled with curiosity, story-telling and overall kid brilliance!
AN INVITATION!: We would love to see you there and encourage your student's participation in our first ever "My Favorite Book" presentation. The link below includes different ideas of what your student can do! Please feel free to use these ideas as a jumping-off point! Ideas for poster presentations.docx If your student chooses to participate, we need their posters by January 26th!
