“The Wolf Pack Is Back!”
It’s that time of year again — the Montlake Elementary PTA Annual Fall Fundraiser! Your financial contribution directly impacts over 200+ young lives, plus the teachers and staff who make our school the nurturing, creative, and mind-expanding place it is.
Public schools are not fully funded by the state or local tax levies, so our PTA fills that gap to support essential staff, programs, and student opportunities.
We do this through multiple fundraising activities, like this Annual Fall Fundraiser and the Spring Auction, as well as smaller events throughout the year. This year our target for the Annual Fall Fundraiser is $125,000.
Why We Fundraise
Your gift helps fund vital positions and programs including:
* 0.50 Art (PCP) program
* 0.4 Academic Intervention
* 0.2 Office Assistant Hourly
* Music
* Community events like the Welcome Picnic & Art Walk
* Teacher appreciation and classroom supplies
* Scholarships for students in need
…and much more!
The yearly cost per student for our PTA support is approximately $1,500.
We recognize that not all families can give at the same level. Please consider donating what you can and encouraging friends, family, and neighbors to support Montlake. Every dollar makes a difference.
How to Donate
There are several easy ways to give:
1. Online Donation:
Donate using the forms above!
2. Employer Matching Gifts (Cash or volunteer hours):
Many companies — including Google, Microsoft, Apple, Symetra, and Alaska Airlines — match donations through benevity.org or their own portals. Some also match volunteer hours! Check with your HR department to see if your company participates.
3. Payroll Deduction Donations:
Several employers allow you to donate directly from your paycheck and automatically apply matching funds.
4. Checks:
Make checks payable to Montlake PTA Fall Fundraiser. Send via "backpack mail", or mail to:

Supporting Equity
Montlake PTA also leads advocacy efforts for equitable funding across schools. This year, you may also choose to donate to Montlake PTA’s Equity Fund — supporting schools like Lowell Elementary and the SE Seattle Schools Fundraising Alliance, which lack PTA fundraising resources.
