Montlake Elementary School Donation Options and matching information

While our spring fundraiser is underway, we wanted to remind our community about different types of donations we accept, and how you can obtain matching giving through your employer.
Montlake PTA accepts donations in several forms. Use the options below to choose what works best for your family. Every gift—any size—supports our students and staff and helps us to keep vital programs like art, music, and academic intervention support available to our students! As a reminder, the current cost per student of our programs is approximately $1500. We know not everyone can give at this level but we appreciate donations of any kind to support our school!
Ways to donate
Make a recurring donation (monthly or quarterly). Smaller, automatic gifts can be easier to budget for and can add up to a larger annual impact. Our online donation page allows recurring donations by credit card or bank account.
Use payroll giving (recurring) + employer match. Many employers let you donate directly from your paycheck, often with an automatic company match. In many cases, gifts are sent to the PTA through Benevity with minimal fees. Check your employer’s giving portal or HR team to see if payroll giving is available.
Request a matching gift (for donations and/or volunteer hours). If your employer offers matching, you may be able to increase the value of your donation at no additional cost. Many companies use Benevity, while others use different systems. Look for Montlake Community School Association, Tax ID (EIN): 91-1117733. Give a one-time donation online. Our online donation page includes one-time gifts by credit card or bank withdrawal.
Donate by check (no processing fees). If your child attends the school, send the check in an envelope marked “Montlake PTA Donation.” You may also mail checks to: Montlake Elementary School PTA, 2025 E Calhoun Street, Seattle, WA 98112.
Volunteering is another great way to support the school. Some employers also provide grants or matches based on volunteer hours—please check your employer’s program details.
Employer matching and payroll giving (popular local employers)
Matching giving is a great way to double your impact! Many companies also match volunteer hours - so please check to see if yours supports either matching giving, or volunteer hours. Some support both! Check with your employer for full details.
How to submit: While connected to the company network, search your company intranet for the most up-to-date matching-gifts link. You can also submit electronically at https://google.benevity.org/user/login.
Deadline: Submit matching-gift requests by January 31 of the year after your donation.
