We see the same stars (octahedra constellation)
 
We see the same stars (octahedra constellation, 2026) is a sculpture created by students in Ms. Podney’s first-grade class in collaboration with Ben and Gennie Brady. Each panel was created by a student and attached to the frame, which is formed by multiple octahedra. This work highlights what we all share together and asks what connections can be made if we give ourselves the time and space to do so. The artists invite the viewer to take in the individual beauty of each child’s imagination, while reflecting on our shared experience of awe and wonder when gazing up at the stars.
