The Run
 
A true celebration of creativity and teamwork, this one-of-a-kind piece was created by the talented artists of Ms. Stryker's class. Each student began by hand-drawing their own salmon. Using elements from every child's artwork, parent volunteer Megan Emslie thoughtfully combined the individual drawings into a single collaborative salmon line drawing. 
 
The class then embarked on an exciting artistic journey through watercolor painting and screen printing. After adding vibrant watercolor backgrounds, the students learned a new printmaking technique and screen-printed the collaborative salmon image over their paintings, bringing the final design to life. 
 
The result is a stunning work of art that captures the spirit, creativity, and teamwork of Ms. Stryker's classroom. More than just a beautiful piece, it represents a memorable exploration of color and printmaking for these young artists.
