Hello Montlake Families!
Welcome to the Fall Session of our After School Enrichment Program! Register for classes here: Montlake's 6crickets portal.
You have one week to register for classes! The Portal closes Wednesday, Sept 17th at 9pm.
The fall session is 11 weeks starting Monday, October 6th through Friday, December 19th. No classes will be held on days when school is not in session: October 10th, November 11th and the week of November 24th – 28th.
Please remember to complete the information in your student's 6crickets profile before registration. Please include all names of people who are authorized to pick up your student(s).
A school fee of $30 will be added to the cost of each class. This additional fee will help to pay the cost of the onsite coordinator. The PTA will subsidize the rest of the cost of the onsite coordinator. If you can pay more than $30, please consider adding a donation!
Scholarships are available. Please email enrichment@montlakepta.org to obtain the discount codes.

NEW THIS YEAR: Let Grow Play Club! Building on the Let Grow Project www.letgrow.org), the Let Grow Play Club will provide an opportunity for Montlake kids of all ages to share in unstructured, kid-led play with minimal adult intervention, developing confidence, problem-solving skills, resilience, and friendships along the way. Trained “Lifeguards” provide a safe space while kids enjoy the freedom to explore and play together. Participants must register for Let it Grow, and there is a maximum of 20 students per day. NOTE: We’re planning for this club to meet daily following After School Enrichment classes and running until 6PM.
Students in Launch
Launch students may register for after school classes. Launch students attending enrichment classes will be returned to Launch after class. Parents will then pick up their students from Launch.
After School Enrichment Classes Procedures
Students will meet their instructors in the gym at school dismissal time. The instructors will take attendance while in the gym to try to ensure that all students are where they should be.
Cindy Tran will be returning as the onsite coordinator. The onsite coordinator will help facilitate any changes to student pick-up plans. The onsite coordinator will also help support students who need extra breaks during class and will help resolve any behavioral issues.
An email to parents/guardians of registered students will be sent before classes start with more details about pickup location, on-site coordinator information and what to do if your child is absent or needs to be picked up early.
A positive behavior plan will be emailed to all parents and guardians of registered students. All students, parents and teachers will need to read and follow this plan.
We rely on parents to communicate changes to schedules and pick-up plans in a timely manner to enrichcoordinator@montlakepta.org.
If your student takes the bus to school, please note that there is no transportation after enrichment classes, so students need to pick their students up after class.
